Welke lettertypes gebruiken in Office?

Heb je wel een gebruik gemaakt van een van uw eigen favoriete lettertypes in Office, PowerPoint of Word en vervolgens ontdekt dat de fonts werden vervangen door een ander lettertype wanneer je de presentatie op een andere computer opent? Erger nog, deze verandering is niet erg goed voorspelbaar, de fontwijzigingen zijn niet consistent en hetzelfde lettertype kan een geheel ander betand of versie zijn van het letterty op bijvoorbeeld weer een derde computer.

Er zijn een aantal oplossing mogelijk:

Je zorgt ervoor dat je eigen lettertype altijd geïnstalleerd is op de computer waar de template gebruikt wordt. (Via de bijvoorbeeld de installer van Huisstijl in Office kunt u uw eigen font laten installeren)
Je gebruikt een font dat op elke gangbare pc (mac) aanwezig is.

Als je lettertypes die deel uitmaken van de bovengenoemde installaties gebruikt, kun je er redelijk zeker van dat anderen het bekijken, dezelfde presentatie ook met dat lettertype kunnen bekijken.

Let wel dat sommige fonts niet geïnstalleerd worden met elke versie van Microsoft Office, maar wel nog steeds beschikbaar kunnen zijn, omdat ze deel uitmaken van de Microsoft Windows en / of Mac OS X-besturingssystemen. De lettertypes hierboven die rood gemarkeerd zijn kunnen beschouwd worden als veilig voor cross-platform gebruik.
